Capri island and Blue Grotto Private Shore excursion

° Meet your guide at the cruise terminal and from pierside you will walk to the nearby marina to board a jet foil for your scenic cruise through the Bay of Naples to the Island of Capri.
° Arriving at the colorful Marina Grande, weather permitting, you will get the opportunity to catch the boat (entrance to the cave is not possible in the presence of south westerly and mistral wind ) for the visit of the famous *Blue Grotto (included) then your tour guide will organize  the transfer along the winding road to Anacapri.
° You may have time to take the chairlift to Mount Solaro and to explore Anacapri before the return drive to Capri Town.
° Walk with your tour guide through narrow streets and the central square, La Piazzetta, which is surrounded by intriguing old buildings and filled with sidewalk cafes. 
° After lunch time, a guided tour to have the opportunity to explore the Gardens of Augustus where you can admire the famous Faraglioni Rocks.
° Enjoy some free time for shopping before taking the funicular back down to Marina Grande, where you will board on a hidrofoil for the return trip to the mainland.

CAPRI EXCURSION FROM SALERNO PORT OF CALL: For cruisers docking in Salerno in 2020 (Emerald Princess, Vision of the Seas) there is an additional charge of 300,00 Euros (in total up to 8 persons) to be paid cash on the spot for car/minivan transfer to Sorrento round trip. From Salerno to Capri it is quite a long journey (4 hours by jet foil round trip) for this reason we depart with our customers from Sorrento (1 hour scenic drive + 20 min. jet foil ride) in order to give them more time to spend on the island and above all to avoid long queues by the Blue Grotto entrance. It is necessary an early start: 7,15 am. * Capri’s Blue Grotto is known throughout the world for its intense blue tones.
- Visitors arrive by boat and stop at the entrance, in order to enter the Grotta Azzurra visitors climb aboard small rowing boats, with a capacity for two, maximum three, passengers and, lying on the bottom of the boat, enter the low and narrow mouth of the cave. Passengers are obliged to lie down in the boat whilst passing in to the cave. The boatman sets down his rows and maneuvers the boat inside with the aid of a chain attached to the vault of the entrance.

- Entrance to the cave is not possible in the presence of south westerly and mistral wind.

- If the Blue Grotto will be closed, the boat trip around the island and the chairlift to Mount Solaro will be offered in substitution.
