POMPEII BY TRAIN FROM NAPLES
A lot of people who wish to visit Pompeii use to get the train from Rome to Naples central station (train ride: 70 minutes).
- From Naples to go to Pompei you have to purchase ticket for the Circumvesuviana train (pay attention: is a different railway ! tickets are available in any tabac shop for 2,80€ p.p. one way, no reservation needed), then walk downstairs to the tracks. This local train departs about every 30 min. (you have to catch the line to Sorrento) and the train ride from Naples to Pompei takes about 35 minutes .
- Get off the train at Pompei Scavi, also known as the "VILLA DEI MISTERI" station.
- Here you will meet our licensed guide holding a sign with your name on it.

To guarantee a safe guided tour, groups accompanied by licensed Tour Guides must not:
- exceed 25 people if equipped with earphones / whisper,
- over 10 people if they are not equipped with earphones / whisper
Access to the site will be possible from Monday to Sunday.

Cost of the ticket:
- 20,00€ Pompei Express: Only the ancient city of Pompeii. Suburban villas not included.
- 24,00€ Pompei Plus: Ancient city of Pompeii with suburban villas: Villa of the Mysteries + Villa of Diomedes + Villa Regina in Boscoreale with Antiquarium.
- 3.50€ for citizens of the European Union aged between 18 and 24
- Free of charge under the age of 18 (mandatory document).
The ticket must be shown at the entrance, directly on your smartphone / tablet (QRcode) or already printed at home on paper.
The reservation will also be possible on the same day subject to availability.
We provide also ticket online reservations.
For most of our Walking Tours we accept a deposit of 20% of the full amount payable by PAY PAL SECURE SYSTEM ( web link on each page of our internet site ) or by money transfer on our company bank account. The remaining balance will be paid to our guide the same day of the excursion.
