Capri island and Vesuvius Private Guided Tour

Meeting-point at the pier with your tour guide, you will walk to the jetfoil terminal for a 45-minute ride to Capri. From the dock at Marina Grande you could have the opportunity to visit the famous Blue Grotto (optional) and time permitting by train cablecar you will reach "La Piazzetta", the heart of the shopping and nightclub area. Wander through the narrow streets and explore the shops and sights until the Augustus Gardens where you will be able to take the most beautiful picture of the famous Faraglioni Rocks. Return to the marina and travel by watercraft back to Naples. In Naples you will meet your private minivan and chauffeur for your 50 minutes drive to Mt. Vesuvius, conquer the top of the most famous volcano of the world in the second part of the day  ! You will drive south via the motorway towards Mount Vesuvius, Europe's only still-active volcano that is located on the west coast of Naples. Driving along the winding roads of the volcanic slopes, admiring stunning views of the Neapolitan and Caserta plain, the petrified road of lava of 1944, the Old Observatory built by the Bourbons dinasty, the ancient crater in the Somma Valley until approximately 3,000 feet, where the road comes to the end.There ( if you want ! ) begin your trek on foot over narrow paths that zigzag up the mountain another 1,000 feet to reach the very top of the crater, to walk along the rim to get the very best picture of the inner part of the crater and the Neapolitan Riviera.You will descend along the narrow paths to the parking lot and proceed back to the cruise terminal.
