Meeting point with your guide and Chauffeur, you'll drive into Naples, your first view of the city takes you back to the 13th century with the Castle Nuovo, a grim and gloomy fortress that served as the residence of the kings of Anjou, Aragon, and the Spanish Viceroys.
You will continue past the Piazza della Borsa, the Corso Umberto, the teather S. Carlo and the Galleria Umberto I, lined with beautiful lamps and 19th-century buildings containing some of the most elegant shops and cafes in Naples. A stop will be made at the Piazza Plebiscito; the most monumental and harmonious square in the city, to view the vast 17th-century Royal Palace, San Carlo Opera House and the Church of St. Francis.
Continue the drive at Posillipo Hill, you'll have time for photographs and an excellent panoramic view of the city.
You will then enjoy the real Neapolitan Pizza Margherita in a typical restaurant.
On your return, you'll pass by Mergellina and the world famous Castle of the Egg in Santa Lucia.
Driving towards Sorrento, you will see the dolomitic cliff towering straight up out of the sea and typical villages, which have characterized its peninsula for many centuries. The next stop is the fabled town of Sorrento.
Legend tells us it was the "sirens" of Sorrento who attempted to lure Ulysses onto the rocks. This delightful town has a wonderful climate and marvelous views of Naples Bay.
Take a stroll around the main square and explore the side streets. There are many souvenir shops and local specialties including articles of highly polished wood inlaid with beautiful marquetry.
You'll see first-hand why its delightful climate make the village a favorite Mediterranean resort.
